Discover.
The Discover program is the first stage of the career competency program—LifeWorks. It supports your child in upper primary and lower secondary to develop awareness of themselves and their futures and prepare for the move to senior high school. It helps children and young people to kickstart their journey in constructing the future they want in three simple steps—understand what is important to them, explore what’s available in the world around them like jobs, subjects, schools, colleges, firms, scholarships and more and make choices about what options are right for them and take the step to get to where they want to be. Through Discover your child will learn about careers, their qualities and abilities, the next education step and plan for it.
Decide.
This is the second stage of the career competency program, LifeWorks. The Decide program will help your child understand tertiary options and the job market, review their learning and career plan, and learn to make the right subject choices. More importantly, your child will understand the connection between work, life and learning. We believe this will help motivate your child to develop the right mindset to excel in school.
Prepare.
This is the final stage of the LifeWorks program. The Prepare program targets students in upper secondary. It deepens your child’s understanding of what it takes to succeed in their preferred tertiary pathway, plan their learning pathway, develop their awareness of job search strategies and develop their ability to present themselves through CV and essays to support university applications processes
